To encourage academic perseverance and combat prejudice
Blue Metropolis’ educational and social programs offer both young people and adults the opportunity to participate in innovative literary activities. These projects promote social inclusion and academic perseverance by allowing participants to create collective works, which are then presented during the Festival.
To open up a dialogue on social issues
Through writing workshops and lectures on the topics of mental health and well-being, Blue Metropolis allows the general public to open up a dialogue on seldom-discussed social issues.
To highlight women writers and their contribution to literature
Blue Metropolis places special emphasis on women and their contribution to literature by offering lectures and workshops by renowned women writers, which are much appreciated by festivalgoers.
To share a love of reading and writing with children
It’s well known that reading and writing have a positive effect on children. That’s why, each year, Blue Metropolis is committed to offering children and adolescents programming and workshops that are both entertaining and educational.
